Alberto's journey as an artist took root with his debut photographic endeavour, "Girls of Milan." This visual essay, a year-long exploration of the lives of young women in the heart of the fashion capital, featured over 100 unique sets that he skillfully captured and directed in collaboration with various photographers. This compelling work debuted at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery and found its way to The Photographers' Gallery in London. It was also notably selected by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) to grace the cover of their essay, thanks to the specially designed typeface "Greta.

Alberto's body of work in Art Nude photography has achieved recognition in the industry's most prestigious publications, including VOGUE, NORMAL magazine, LIONS mag, and INSTITUTE Magazine.

In response to the challenges posed by the pandemic in 2020, Alberto Maccari embarked on a new creative venture by launching the art nude magazine KAISER.
